Founded in 2006 by Lester Jessop, Prime Excavating, Inc. has grown from a small, family-driven operation into a trusted leader in the civil construction industry. With deep roots in the trade—Lester gained hands-on experience working alongside his father from a young age. As young men, Lester and John Steed became friends and worked together for an excavating company, developing a strong work ethic in the industry. In 2008, John joined Prime Excavating, and he and Lester began working side by side once again. Together, they have been dedicated to building and growing Prime Excavating, combining their expertise and leadership to establish a respected and successful company.
